Bathroom core renovation in Prague 12
Many Prague panel flats still have the original 'umakart' bathroom core: a box of plastic-laminate panels holding the bathroom and toilet. I replace it with a modern bathroom, from strip-out to clean-up, with a 3D design before you sign, a fixed written price and a fixed timeline.

- Old umakart core stripped out and rubble removed
- New moisture-resistant walls and ceilings

- Electrics with a licensed electrician, handed over with an official revision report

Working in a block of flats
A core renovation has to be announced to the building manager or owners' association (SVJ) in advance, and short water shut-offs arranged. I'll tell you what's needed and can deal with the building in Czech on your behalf.
Expect limited use of the bathroom and toilet while the work is going on. You'll know the exact length and order of work in advance from the timeline.
Common questions
How much does a bathroom core renovation cost?
Typically 150,000–250,000 Kč including materials, depending on size, choice of tiles and fittings, and how much pipework is replaced. You get a fixed price in writing after I measure up.
How long does it take?
It depends on the scope. You get an exact timeline in advance, and I stick to it.
Do I need to move out?
Usually not, but expect limited use of the bathroom and toilet while the work is going on.
Do you handle the electrics?
Yes, together with a licensed electrician, and handed over with an official revision report.
